Delivery & returns
Last updated 26 August 2026
The short version. Merchandise is made to order and posted by Fourthwall, not from a warehouse of ours, so allow time for it to be printed before it ships. If an item arrives faulty, wrong or damaged, Fourthwall will replace or refund it. Because items are made to order, change-of-mind returns are limited — but your statutory rights still apply.
Who fulfils your order
THE BONES FUND merchandise is sold and fulfilled by Fourthwall. Checkout, payment, printing, packing, postage and returns are all handled on their side. We do not hold stock and we do not post items ourselves.
That means Fourthwall's own delivery and returns policy applies to your order alongside our terms. This page explains how it works and how to get help.
Made to order
Items are print on demand. Nothing is printed until you order it, which is why there is no warehouse of unsold stock and why the fund carries no inventory risk. It also means an order takes longer to reach you than something shipped from a shelf: allow production time before dispatch, then delivery on top.
Production and delivery estimates are shown at checkout and in your order confirmation. Those estimates come from Fourthwall and are the ones to rely on.
Prices, currency and customs
Prices are set in US dollars because Fourthwall is a US company. If you pay in another currency your bank or card issuer sets the exchange rate and may add its own fee.
Depending on where your item is produced and where it is going, customs duty or import VAT may be charged on delivery. Any such charges are set by your country's authorities and are your responsibility, not ours.
If something is wrong
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, misprinted or not what you ordered, Fourthwall will put it right with a replacement or a refund. Contact them as soon as you can, with your order number and a photograph of the problem — the photograph makes it much quicker.
Start with the contact details in your order confirmation email, which routes straight to the team fulfilling your order. If you cannot find it, or you would rather come to us, email info@thebonesfund.org and we will chase it for you.
Changing your mind
Because items are made to order specifically for you, they are personalised goods, and the usual 14-day cancellation right for online purchases does not automatically apply in the way it would to off-the-shelf stock.
In practice: if you have ordered the wrong size or changed your mind, get in touch quickly. If production has not started, it can usually be cancelled. Once an item has been printed it cannot be resold, so change-of-mind returns are not normally possible — but tell us anyway and we will see what can be done.
None of this affects your statutory rights. Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If they are not, you are entitled to a remedy regardless of anything on this page.
Wrong address
Check your delivery address before you confirm. If a parcel is returned as undeliverable because the address was wrong or incomplete, reshipping may have to be paid for again.
Where the money goes
Our prices reflect buying a product that includes a charitable donation. Around 60–70% of the profit on each item is donated to the causes listed on this site. A refund refunds the whole purchase, including that portion.
